If you answered yes to even a few of these questions, then you probably already know that you have a problem with anxiety or panic attacks. You are not alone! Just knowing that others feel the way you do can bring a sense of relief to the anxious sufferer. One of the strong holds of anxiety is a feeling of isolation and vulnerability! Even though guys can feel like something is going to go wrong any minute and the anxious business man knows exactly what I’m talking about…
Chronic pain related anxiety and all the associated symptoms can be cured! I know the skeptic in you already doubts this, you think that it will never go away and perhaps even your doctor told you that it will always be with you… but let me explain what “cure” means. Have you ever had a paper cut or a sun burn? Did the cut heal? Did the sun burn eventually disappear? Does the mere fact that you already had a paper cut or sun burn mean that you will never have another one ever again? Of course not, and just because the body healed the cut completely and the red skin faded to healthy skin does not mean that you will never get another cut or sun burn? If anything, it’s the knowledge gained by the experience that can help prevent future cuts or burns. So likewise, recovering from anxiety is much the same in that your nervous system can eventually desensitize and your chemistry can rebalance, but unless you address the cause and learn how to manage the stress, you may develop anxiety symptoms again later in life. So, our goal at panic to peace is to show you a road map to recovery that will, in my real life opinion, give you the tools that you need to not only recover, but to forge a new way of thinking and responding to the stresses of life so that you can live in victory over the fear that now seems to control you.
