You're in Caring Hands

When it comes to your health and the treatment for chronic pain, you deserve the absolute best care! Be assured that we are actively recruiting physicians into the network. We encourage you to be patient because not just any doctor can join… Your wellbeing is our highest priority! As an added value to you, before we approve a doctor they must agree to:

  • Review and abide by federal and state guidelines
  • Treat every patient with respect and with a caring demeanor
  • Accurately maintain your medical records
  • Submit CV/Resume’ for review

Doctors must also pass a background check obtained from over 150 sources including the office of the Inspector General, (OIG) which lists individuals who have been excluded from participating in federally funded healthcare programs. There are several reasons for exclusion, including:

Federal Disciplinary Sanctions

  • Conviction relating to fraud
  • Misdemeanor conviction relating to controlled substances
  • License revocation by the State Medical Board
  • Surrender of a medical license while formal disciplinary actions are proceeding
  • Any exclusion from any federal or state health programs
  • Claims for excessive charges, fraud, or kickbacks
  • Failure to report required information to various state and or government agencies
  • Failure to grant immediate access for various inspections
  • Failure to take corrective action on issues found during inspections
  • Default of health education loans or scholarship obligations

State Medical Board Disciplinary Data

State Medical Board disciplinary actions including:

  • Actions taken by the State Medical Board
  • Actions taken by Hospitals
  • Criminal convictions

Remember too that you are an active participant in your health care. Ask questions; be sure to communicate honestly and completely with your doctor. Follow the treatment plan and give it time… Be open minded about new and alternative treatment options that may reduce your need for medication in the treatment of chronic pain. By working together, we hope to bring you in touch with the resources you need to lead a healthy productive life!

Sincerely, the National Network for Chronic Intractable Pain, (NNCIP)
